celebrated my birthday with STYLE... I wish lo. Style, i don't have any. STYE, a lot of it. :(
my family and friends more than made up for my lousy condition on my birthday though - Shi jia made sure she was the very first to wish me, at 12 sharp. She also got me lovely scrapbooking materials which i believe she wants me to use it to scrapbook photos of her. haha.  Kum and May met me the night before my birthday. May was nice enough not to mention the stye, kum totally missed it though. Kum's very blind one. May subsidized my bag and Kum gave me hello kitty post-its (in addition to the perfume she got me from HK). Jeffrey took leave for my bday "celebration" but we didnt manage to have any fun but were stuck at the clinic having my stye removed. My mummy , daddy and even auntie tessie gave me ang baos! Although my cheapskate mum tried to ride on the free meal by our property agent to celebrate my birthday! but wah.. the meal was wonderful, complete with sharkfins (oh no.. so sinful), lamb steaks and peking duck! Yingqi and Candice showered me with gifts when I went back to the office.. so touched they bothered at all, when they were so busy at work! My weekend couldn't have ended any better - Juany, JX, MX, LY and Wan came to surprise me at home!! So paiseh lo - i was taking a nap when they came!! I opened my eyes and there they were. Really very sweet of them :) Thanks peeps!!

its been 18 years.. 18 FREAKING YEARS. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? and we're moving just like that... no words can describe how sad we are to be moving out of hong lee place and downgrading to a tiny flat.

we're all packed and ready to go.. sort of lar... there are actually still a lot more to go - the storeroom, the book shelf, the 2nd floor's living room...



and then, there's cleaning to be done at the new house. scrub scrub scrub, clean clean clean, mop mop mop, super sianz.

we shopped far too much during e last few days of our trip. i bought stuff tt r I probably may nt use after e trip, stuff tt r too expensive, stuff I normally wouldn't buy, useless stuff blah.. oh well, at least its fun while it lasted. Kekeke

New york's nt very pretty. I mean, well its a city after all. But its really pretty cool. crazy kind of cool. Despite e miserable bus trips n lousy hostels, it was a wonderful trip. We've seen so much and erm, shopped even more. Haha!

oh shit. the hostel tt we'll b staying at for e rest of e trip sucks. it doesn't even have free Wifi :( gotta steal Wifi from barnes n noble. Boohoohooo managed to shop at abercrombie today tho. There's actually a long queue to get in!? Gosh

I survived e horrendous 11 hrs bus ride to toronto to be greeted by e loveliest hostel of all. that really saved e day, especially since my stupid period had to start too. For the first time on our trip, Juany n I slept thru e night. Loved e hostel!

our 2 days in toronto were pretty gd, e weather can be quite a killer sometimes tho. Nth particularly interesting abt toronto. Heh

We moved on to niagara falls from toronto. E first day it rained the whole time n that really dampened our spirits. We had to wear the stupid poncho everywhere we go. There was a fireworks display at night , bt we were hardly impressed, having to watch it in e rain.

2nd day at niagara falls was much much better. The sun was out, there was this huge rainbow over the falls n its simply gorgeous. The photos we took looked too gd to be real! Ha

Ok, that's all 4 now.... Let me go try to get some sleep. We are now on a 7 hrs bus ride back to nyc. Damn these stupid bus rides! Really hate them :(

its fucking cold on e bus! :(

this time, we're on a 10 hrs bus ride all e way to toronto canada. E ass gonna hurt man. Expected e bus to be either empty or full of shady weird pple, I mean, who else would want to take a 10 hrs bus right? Well well, lotsa budget travellers ard I guess, bus is pretty full n most looks decent.

We stuffed ourselves w sushi at e beginning of e ride n I'm slowly dozing off now.... As much as I would like to update on our day today... I,m zzzzzz

oh wow our 6 bed dorm rm is really tiny. As tiny as it can get. Everyone's cramped together. N sharing a toilet e sz of a lift. Ok maybe slightly bigger than tt. Oh well, Gd thing this is just for 1 night. Nitez.

on the way back to nyc, but there's a massive jam. Sianz.

Washington d c is pretty cool... I actually liked it n wished we had planned for 1 more day there, u know, just to take it slow n all. We walked sooooo much, my feet r really tired :( It was also my first night in a shared dorm in a hostel, didn't turn out too bad. In fact, I slept better than I did back in our hostel in new york. in comparison, our hostel in nyc sucked!

a 4 hrs bus ride is really nth, having survived e 24 hrs flight. our flight to new york was hell! We were sooooo tired bt just couldn't sleep! Imagine! Suffering from Insomnia for 24 hrs.

So far so good tho... our hostel dorm is super tiny bt clean. Checked out central park n times square yesterday. Central park is just lovely. Times square failed to impress tho. Possibly coz I was tired by then. Juany is so full of energy n can never seem to get tired. I can't keep up man.
